Why biochemistry?

When I started high school I had no idea of what career would be nice to study, because one at that age don't think about it so much (at least in my case), but between 9th-10th grade I started to think more about it, focusing on 2 different options, either a cientific career or a musical career, both seemed to be a good idea but after talking with my friends and family I decided to study a cientific career, specially something focused on chemistry that is my favorite from the 3 main cientific subjects (biology, chemistry and physics).

From that moment I started to investigate careers, but two caught my attention in particular: "Biochemistry" and "Chemistry and Pharmacy", but Biochemistry was the top among them principally because my Chemistry teacher at that momment told me that Biochemistry have a huge labor field, specially in investigation, that is the kind of job that I want to work on.

I studied for the PSU and didn't got the enough amount of points for biochemistry, so I had 3 options: Study another year for the PSU, study Chemistry and Pharmacy (my second option) or enter "Bachillerato", I decided the third one because on the career fair they told me that if I pass the first two years on it I had almost for granted to transfer to biochemistry at the end of it. So here I am finishing my second year to finally transfer to Biochemistry, the career that I want to.

The variety of the seventh art

I love when it's time to talk about movies, I consider myself a bit of a cinephile in that way, but it's hard to think about just one movie, genre or director in particular, because everyone have their thing and a reason to watch it, from action movies to more artistic kind of movies I found enjoyment in many of them, maybe not to much in romantic ones or comedies but even that genres that are the ones that I like the least have a movie or two that I remember catching my attention.

If I would need to think my favorite genres it would be between horror, action and animation, horror movies in first place for the experience of it, the feeling of the adrenaline while I'm so tense that I can't stop looking at the movie is simply wonderful, but I have to say that I don't like the modern horror with all the screamers and high noises, I like the psychological kind of horror from movies like "the ring", the known story about the cursed vhs tape that haunts the protagonist, "lake mungo", a more dramatic type of horror but with some horror touches that make me very uncomfortable, among others, or the ones with more suspense like "the shining", based on the Stephen King's book, "psycho", a psychological approach to a killer or "the blair witch project", a found footage of a group that goes to investigate a witch but they're the ones who ended hunted one by one.

Then there's action movies, when it comes to action movies I would sit to see most of them without problem, because it's more like a distraction, just to relax and enjoy where there's cars exploding, people fighting like martial artist, guns shooting and so, with sometimes an interesting story to follow up, and there I found movies that keep on my mind, like the "terminator" saga,  which have a interesting storyline (the james cameron ones), "saving private Ryan", one of the best bellic movies of all time or "inglorious basterds", the second best movie from Tarantino after "pulp fiction" in my opinion.

At last but not the least there's animation movies, it's complicated naming "animation" as a full genre, because animation is more like a form to express a movie than a type of movie in particular, because from animation you get all of the genres from the "traditional" movies, not only child's movies (not taking away merit from child's movies, there are many pieces of art in child's movies), so if I would need to name my favorite animation movies I could name "spiderman: Into the spider-verse" for the animation, it looks just like a comic and is very loyal to the spiderman universe, or maybe "the nightmare before christmas", which have both an animation beautifully made from the stop motion technique and a soundtrack so well composed that I enjoy every track of it, or even "the end of evangelion", a piece of art coming from the mind of the master Hideaki Anno with the story started from the "evangelion" anime and manga to put an end, with many symbolism from mythology and a psychological charge that won't leave anyone indiferent.

And that's basically all of it, hope you liked the post, bye bye.
